This elegant art glass platter was handmade by artisans in Romania, in a style reminiscent of Dorothy Thorpe. Gold and white pigments are trapped within layers of glass, complementing apparent etched designs in a Baroque style, and topped with additional gold detailing and raised glass decorations on the surface. Beautiful on its own, as a chic serving platter, or a stylish catchall tray. There is a name in one corner on the top (Anselme?); perhaps the artisan. From Romania.
