Vintage German blue and light grey hand painted salt glazed stoneware pitcher. Signed by the artist.
Great example of salt glazed pottery. Vintage 1970s white with cobalt blue German stoneware. Made on potters wheel and painted by hand. Salt glazed pottery is fired for approximately 48 hours. In the last hours they put salt in the stove and this make the glaze.
